When they are stock, they are chick cars. Don't want a flame war from that but, that's what it is. Who knows if that girl took care of it?? Sometimes modifying shows pride, meaning the owner liked it enough to drop money into it, therefore likes it enough to take care of it.

If you buy a modified car that is about to explode because it has been beat on, it will cost more in the long run than a stock rig that has probably never been offroad its whole life. Its just a general rule of thumb, obviously not true in every case, but the chance of buying a pos is greater when it is not stock.

I as a seasoned jeep owner would but a modified jeep hands down before a "stock jeep" I've seen how people treat stock vehicles that the just drive. Just like stated... they put gas in it till it quits running.

Well I went to look at it and It was beat to hell and all chopped up. The only good part was the brand new set of 33s so I passed on it but I bought this beauty with 125,000 miles for $3k 1998 classic 4x4
