Electrical door plugs. That way when people with power options go doorless they just have one plug to take out and they're good to go

before I can build anything that is not universal between pre97 and 97+, I will have to find someone willing to let me use their 97+ for a guinea pig as my XJ is a 91

Door sills would be universal for all years. Make black ones and silver ones

how thick would they need to be? would 1/16" be sufficient or would 1/8" be better?

1/16 would suffice I guess, there's no stress on them, but don't etch or stamp the Jeep name in them or you'll be paying Jeep the trademark fee

And don't price them $150 a set like the GC aftermarket door sills.

If you're going to make them, do a pole on whether people would rather buy diamond plate, or brushed aluminum and go with the majority.

I'll take diamond plate, brushed alum. won't look tough enough for an XJ.

Besides, I have the diamond plate Husky liners so it'll match perfect.

Also, make them kinda a dull finish instead of shiny glossy, I'm not driving a Hummer.

I'm thinking for $50 a pair they would sell like hotcakes, seems like someone is making these at their home or shop already. http://xjtalk.com/showthread.php?p=10&language=th
