Default What is your vehicle history?

Just bought my first XJ, and was doing some thinking about all the vehicles I have owned, and thought someone else on here may have some interesting ones.

I'll kick it off-
First I was handed down the classic
1. 1990 Chevy Van 20 Conversion Van "The Gladiator"

2. 1996 Honda Accord

3. 1990 Toyota 4-Runner

4. 1978 Datsun 280z (my dad's little toy now)

5. 1985 F-150 (still own)

6. 1973 Honda CL-350 motorcycle (still own)

7. 1978 Honda CB-750 Hondamatic

8. 1994 Nissan Pathfinder

9. 1958 Jeep CJ-5 (still own)

10. 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix

11. 2003 Chevy 2500 (still own)
and finally
12. 1995 Jeep Cherokee

I know it is considered a sin on here, but my favorite of them all (aside from my CJ) was my '90 4Runner. Stock it could go places my friend's XJ couldn't with a 3" lift. That said, the XJ bug has hit me. Hard. This is going to be a long term project for me, and in the long run I can see me loving this thing far beyond what I loved that 'yota. (The pathfinder sucked)

By the way, I am 21. These have all been owned in the last 5 years. Pretty solid start, I think.

1990 Toyota Pickup (2wd=lame) Dad took it back eventually...
then
1995 Ford Crown Victoria (Pimp Car) Almost totalled like four times, Dad took that one back too...
Then..
1988 Chevy C3500 "RV Edition", had Captains chairs up front, full size 4 door cab, full legnth bed, Duallies, 1.5 ton hauling capacity, 15000lb Towing Capacity, two 20 gallon gas tanks, 454 Small Block. That puppy could to donuts and stand still burnouts all day, and no matter what, it got 8 miles to the gallon. Eventually sold to a "farm" that we later found out was actually a Davidian Cult.... Probably going to see that truck in the news one day, filled with guns and explosives....
Then
1997 Saturn SC2, still got it, my race car...
Then
1998 Jeep Cherokee, the weekend warrior/backup vehicle when my Saturn breaks, which is about once a week, haha.
Then
2000 Chevy Cavalier, the wifes, and I hate that thing with a passion.

1996 registered my first car. 1984 jeep cherokee 2dr 2.8v6 5spd with 3" rough country lift, 31" tires, chopped roof behind doors, soft top, roll bar, and dual 2" square tube custom bumpers. Junked in 1999.

Upgraded to a 1988 jeep cherokee 2dr 4.0 auto in 1999. used the same 3" lift from first jeep, and added a set of new 31" mud tires and new rims.
Gave to sister in 2005.

2004 bought 1990 jeep cherokee 2dr 4.0 5spd with roof chopped behind doors, same soft top, and roll bar from the 1984, although roll bar was changed from 4pt to 6pt to reinforce uni-body chop. 4.5" rough country suspension with full rear packs, and adjustable trac-bar. Longer YJ brake hoses, 4.10 gears front and rear, ford 8.8 rear axle, 3” square tube 3/16 wall front bumper with brackets going back 18” on uni-body reinforcing the steering box, 5”c-chanel rear bumper. Jeep was totaled in a accident feb 2009. Jeep was able to drive home after being rear ended by someone in a Nissan car doing 55mph! However after further inspection at my garage frame damage and a bent leaf pack made it unsafe to continue use.

2005 bought 1996 jeep Cherokee 2dr 4.0 5spd. Left it stock and used as daily driver for one winter. Gave to father 2006 who gave it to my brother in 2008. The jeep was given back to me in 2009 when it didn’t pass inspection due to rotted floors and leaking exhaust manifold. Truck is now has new 2x5” 1/8 wall steel rocker panels, hand cut and hammered 20 gage sheet metal floor pans. And will be getting the front bumper, axles, tires, and lift kit from the 1990 Cherokee, along with a new heavy 3” square tube 3/16 wall rear bumper with swing out spare tire carrier.

I have also owned

Ford f250 which I bought and junked (never registered)
1984 jeep cj-7 with 3” lift, full cage, custom bumpers, 33” swampers (sold)
1990 Mazda mx-6 gt turbo 5spd (sold)
1993 Pontiac trans am lt1 v8 auto (sold)
1998 Pontiac firebird formula ls1 v8 auto (still have)
1986 jeep Cherokee 4cyl purchased for axles with factory 4.10 gears (scraped)
1990 wrangler purchased to fix up, lost interest (parted out and scraped)
