I run 31x10.5 15's and they were about 150 a tire up here so they are most likely cheaper in the lower 48 just like everything else. They really grip well and clean out nice aswell

I like the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's on my 2500 Dodge, but they are spendy. They wear well and hook up good in the rain.
I just got my 31" Firestone AT's for my XJ, but won't have them mounted until this weekend, but I have seen a lot of good reviews on them.

I have set of toyo at's that I got this summer. Good in rain, decent in mud, but I have to admitt that I was kinda disappointed by them in the snow this year. For lighter snow they were fine but in any considerable amount they werent as good as people made them out to be

I've been selling tires for quite a few years (Probably too many)
The best A/T tire on the market currently is the Duratrac hands down it excels in everything an Puts the BFG AT to Shame. If I was in the market for an A/T tire I would put duratracs on my XJ .

Im running Firestone Destination A/Ts and have been impressed. I never thought much of Firestone but i can't complain about these. Living in Southern Cali I have hit everything from light rock and trails to sand dunes and even some decent mud and they seem to love being aired down in the sand most and they stay pretty clean in mud for an A/T. They also stick well on road and I dont fear for my life in rain. My next tires will be KM2s but that isnt because of the Firestones. I have heard bad things about Bridgestone and Nitto. I have friends who are running BFG, Toyo, and General and they all love their tires too. Hope this helps

I would consider the Guard Dog from Treadwright to be an all terrain tire, quieter and better wear than the BFG A/Ts but all most as good in the mud as the M/Ts, awesome on the rocks, killer looks, and BEST OF ALL freakin' CHEAP!

I have Destination AT's on my Frontier and they are a fantastic tire. Quiet, long wearing, well mannered on the road and very capable off road. Great looking and reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about them. Paid $140 a piece for 265 75 16's.

Firestone Destination A/T's are more road oriented. Falken Wildpeak A/T's are much better off road but slightly worse behaving on road. Yokohoma Geolander A/T's combine the best of both worlds and a 50k mile warranty added in as a plus(the two aforementioned have no warranty).
The Geolanders don't have as much value in "murr" as a brand and as a tire that looks cool, but it's a tradeoff and does the best job in terms of functionality an driveability in a variety of conditions.

I got my Firestone Destination A/T's a little over a year ago for my 3" lifted 91 XJ and they are awsome! This is my daily driver, (I don't baby my ride) and so far really no signs of wear yet. I have nothing negitive to say about these tires. They ride and handle great on dry pavement. They are awsome in the rain!!!!! They really hook up well on gravel fire roads too. Next time my Dodge Ram 4X4 needs tires I will be buying the Firestone Destinations for it, for sure!!
