If that's the case, stick with OEM goodness and run the V8 ZJ tierid and just replace your probably worn out tierod ends wirh new ones.

I upgraded to a doulbe shear track bar yesterday and wow what a difference that made. No more death wobble and no more popping. But after reading up some more and doing research I think i am going to go with the UTK serious offroad steering. It seems the easiest to do and doesnt have heims with i still dont know is good or bad, but atleast i know TRE will be good.

Don't under estimate this setup from a mid 90's ZJ I'm running 35's on bead locks with it and have not had any issues. This setup is solid steel and heavy plus the ends are quite large the major plus with it is that it is a direct bolt-in no mods of any kind. I run a Dbl. Shear Track Bar also with mine its tight.

If you have an all out crawler then you should go with a 1 ton or something like it. But this setup will cost you a $100 at AutoZone their best brand is a Moog and what I used.

yeah, you are probably right. i dont do insane crawling so the grand cherokee tie rod with all new stuff would be the cheaper and more economical option... but that one ton set up is so nice

One ton set ups are effin awesome! I'm running the Serious UTK kit without a stabilizer on a 4.5" lifted rig with 32's and can cruise the interstate at 80 with no issues. I have already bounced it off a few rocks and o ly scratched the paint. Plus it looks sooo damn bad ***!

I've been running the Serious UTK for about two years now. ITS SOLID. Been through the Rubicon twice, every trail on cow mountain more than once and ran slick rock two weekends ago. Everywhere I went. Every rock I've drug this tie rod over it still drove me straight home.

I'm running the b lee heavy duty cross over steering. Running 33" tires on 5" of lift and its a daily driver no death wobbles and feels better than the stock set up when it was all stock
