Whats my jeep worth?
I'm going to be leaving for college in June (yeah I know it's still awhile off but I'm trying to get everything figured out) and I can't take my xj with me I'm going a decent ways away from home so the option that works best for me would be to sell my current xj and then buy another one once I get down there. I'm just trying to get a ball park of what it would be worth cause once the warm weather hits up here i have to kick it in gear. So here's what it's got: 2001 Cherokee sport 4 door, 4.0l straight 6, automatic, 4wd that works perfectly, 98k on it, 3"RC lift and steering stabilizer, factory lockers, full borla exhaust system, hella offroad lights, homemade roofrack (will probably get taken off) 28" Goodyear wranglers & full size spare, 2 hoods ( one with vents one without), kicker speakers, power windows, locks, steering, and all that jazz, tilt wheel. Runs strong and has minimal rust, been really well maintained and stuff ( oil changes ect.) a few other things to but I can't think of right now. Let me know what you guys think and like I said I'm just trying to figure it all out right now in preparation, im gonna hold off on the selling as long as possible. Thanks

Yeah I've gotten so attached to this one cause I pretty much did everything myself ya know? Lol the problem is I can't bring it with me and my parents don't like it so they don't want it in the driveway so it would either sit on my side yard for an insanely long time or my sister would get to use it (even though I bought it) and it would get destroyed by her and her prissy little friends ( one of her friends parents bought the girl a 2010 mustang gt for her first car she trashed it in 2 months. It's all scratched up the interiors gone to **** and she's been beating the living hell out of the clutch and transmission.) no respect lol and thats the last thing I want to happen to my xj

you should price out shipping options. Since it seems you could be flexible with the time of delivery you shoudl get cheap pricing. Under $1k
why risk buying one that costs you $$$$$ in repairs/upgrades. you know your jeep....

I'm curios as to why you CAN'T take it with you? If it runs strong and doesn't have any issues.... Why not make a road trip out fo going to college? You could even find places to stay for free along the way if it's a multi day trip via www.couchsurfing.org

Financially and practicality it would not seem to make much sense to sell a fine XJ like you have, only to buy another at school. You know your Jeep well I assume and would most likely be buying an unknown. I would drive it to school. To answer your question though, I would say 5K minimum.
