The most common failure is broken studs, but thats from over/under torque! Just my .02...
X2 Its all about installing them the RIGHT way!

Maybe I'm overlooking it, but how do you install them? Is it a matter of tightening them enough or something like that?

I put the spacer on and tighten the lug nuts in 3 graduall steps in a star pattern then do the same with wheel to make sure everything is centred and torqued to about 100 to 110ft/lbs

Just follow the instructions that are included with your spacers.

Default Spaced Out

Almost 200000 km on my Spydertrax, all weather, still in great shape. $145 delivered from Quadtech. always 100ft lb torque. 1.25" resolved my lower control arm rub at full turn. 31"x10.5 on stock jeep alum 15X4 rims.
I seem to have accumulated several sets of stock rims so another rim set less backspaced wasnt high on my wish list.

Alright, so it is as easy as I thought. It's just a matter of commonsense.

I'm leaning more towards the $100 set that's been posted here. You think I should go with the 1.5'' just to be safe? Since I'm running 33x12.5.

Good eye didn't even notice that the first time around, anyone else notice what it is parked infront of? Some reason I find that funny, but yes I would atleast go with 1.5'' for a 33x12.5 to keep them off your LCAs.

It was the wheel studs that snapped. And yes probably due to user error or in this case shop error. I simply posted the picture to show why I would not run them, ie I am lazy and will not tighten them every so often like they require.

He got a lot of comments about that as well. Haha. I'm still unsure If he was going there and it broke of if his jeep just so happened to break in front of it.

The main thing with adapters and such, invest in a torq wrench. Without it you run the risk of over/under tightening it. Plus check every so often that they still have proper torq. Buy from frank, he has some good items there, I've bought a bunch of things from him never had a problem

I believe I have or know someone with a torq wrench. Now does every so often vary on how much I drive? Are we talking every couple months? And I'll definitely buy from Frank.

I'll be buying possibly later this week. Have to sell my previous set of tires, then I'm good to go. In the mean time, I might adjust my turning radius with that washer, just so I don't ruin my tires.

Thanks
