Where can I go from Hankook Dynapro ATMs?

I was only referencing the Falken. lol The Cooper's have got to be a better quality tire so I'm sure your right. Actually my son-in-law just mounted 31" Coopers for his F-150 for when weather breaks giving his mud tires a rest.

Dynapros are my next tire. Many people come in with them and they say there happy with them as theyre quiet on the road and grip sand and mud well. Plus never see any come in with defects unlike *coughs* sumitomos. But i blame a bad stock because these tires that came in were from a same shipment we got and basically they all came back with shifted belts

Only reason why I got the AT2 over the AT/3 was because I got a discount for the General Grabber's. Both tires are very good and I think they both would work well for what they would be used for. If you already have a good experience with the Dynapro's I would consider sticking with them just because you already have experience with they can do.

Not yet but one more tire comes in theyre gonna look into it this is the 12th tire that came in. Also this kinda goes along with the goodyear viva 3 tires as well theyre very cheapy cheap of cheap tires that they make walmarts douglas tires look good and tbh alot of people are happy with their tires even for a cheaper tire which is odd considering its an off brand name than a name brand tire despite being a goodyear offbrand.

Maybe General finally got their act together and started building a decent tire. I had to stop selling them just like I did the Michelins. They were a really bad tire for many many years.

You talking Generals in general or just the A/T?
Don't even get me going on Michelins. Only tire I ever literally had the sidewall come apart on. LTX's. Could have been bad with the wife having to make trip on the interstate the next day.

Generals in General. lol I was a General wholesale dealer for awhile. they were a terrible tire from the early 70's through to at least the mid to late 90's. But at least they would make their tires good where Michelin would not.

Martlor you’re the first person I’ve heard say good things about General tires lately . My first shop stopped selling them after constant extrmely low mileage life of their tires on customers and employees of the shop . Always been a cooper and their sister companies fan . Personally run the Hankook ATM’s on our Yukon with a ton of miles and still over half tread left it’s driven us over most of the U.S in all weather conditions imaginable and towed loads heavier than it should have been and nothing but great things from me to say about them . Not a big fan of Michelin’s very over priced for a run of the mil tire imho . You see 10 times more Hankook ATM’s in my area than any other tire .

Wasn't there the same issue with BFG A/T's a number of years back. Almost seemed like it depended on what area of the country you lived in whether you got good mileage out of them or not. Different compounds from the tires being made in different countries?

I have consistantly owned a vehicle with bfg ats for the past 10 years. Never had any issues with wear. The last set I had made it a bit past 40k. If it was an area issue, thats very odd but possible.

Dont they make tire shines or conditioners to prevent dry rotting? not the type that has alcohol in it or whatnot that dries the tires out

Continental bought General in the late 80's and turned their quality/durability issues around by 2000 or so. I've had a couple sets of their all-season performance tires since then and they were good...not great for the price.
