Whip antenna
I have a 102 inch whip antenna with the Spring ball mount coaxial in a big L bracket that I can't use on my Jeep Cherokee I don't want to drill into the body plus I don't think I want a hundred and two in whip I'd like to trade for maybe a 4-foot fiberglass CB antenna with either a hood mount or rear tail light mount with the coaxial I'm in Arizona

i have a 102 inch fiberglass whip. i have it mounted to my rear bumper. it works great. but if i were you, i'd get rid of that spring and just mount it rigid on a bracket. that length of whip is flexible enough. all that spring does is lets that whip become a weapon. some event's won't even let you on the trails with one. they can be that dangerous on a spring.
i don't like the rigid 4 footers only for the fact, they are not flexible and become a problem on the trails with low branches. i've seen them snap and/or just twist the bracket rotating it to a non useful angle, throwing out the match.
and magnet mounts are just plain useless in our sport.
but all you really need is a working cb that can reach to the end of your group. but in reality, i only have one jeep with a cb, but i take them all out on trail runs.

Whip Antenna
Well I don't really go four wheeling but I like to have a CB for in case of an emergency that's why I don't want to put that big old whip on there and I don't want to drill into the body of the vehicle.
