Rewster...
Thank you for posting that link. I am glad to actually see build pics and such. It's funny a 2wd XJ owner comes in here asking about lifting, he gets help and nothing really gets said. However a lowered XJ get posted and it is the worst POS anyone has ever seen and should be destroyed. What a double standard.... for a forum that is supposed to be so friendly.

I'm sad to say my friend is planning on doing the exact same thing. I'm also ashamed to say I'm helping him out. BUT... I convinced him to use a 2wd one so not to ruin a perfectly good 4wd one, however hes stuck on using a 2 door.

Haha. I posted that pick in a thread a long time ago! Cause there is a guy up here who lowered a Cherokee.
Old old old! But they are right tO "each his own!"
Remember most guys who lower something like that is normally doing it to a 2wd base not a 4wd. So no need for "flex" And on something that low s/he's gonna have air ride suspension in it so they can get over speed bumps. Not like my lil Honda Civic with coilovers that can't get over a speed bump.
I mean haven't any of you seen the typhoon? Those are sweet rigs and those use a truck base too. I mean yeah that Cherokees ugly but I think it's a cool idea.

U got me and I have to say that I LOL alittle.
I have been on this site for only 2 days, but I have owned and operated a XJ for over 11 years and put something like 125,000 miles on it.
I guess that now I have to go to every new introduction and build thread and put "nice jeep", "what are the specs", "Looks good", etc. until i get my post count up. How many post is XJ God. j/k
