No, they'll scrub on the shocks.

You'll have to lift at least 8 inches to clear tires on the stock wheels.

More like 10" of lift if you don't trim your fenders and don't remove the inner fender well body fluid reservoir...

I find myself spending a day finding things to subscribe to, then that's all i check for a month. Looking at the mod tech just make me wonder if nobody reads anymore.
I was a ghost here for months just reading, learning, and realizing what you guys don't want to be asked.

Not sure if you were aware, but if you think someones question is stupid or too "noob" for your time to be wasted on answering it, now hang on this parts a shocker, YOU CAN JUST SCROLL RIGHT ON TO THE NEXT POST!!!!! I know, kind of hard to grasp at first, but it really DOES work. Chances are, if someone is asking the question you feel to be below you, they probably really do need the answer and either arent very computer literate or are new to forums/jjep, whatever....
I was raised on the belief that "the only stupid question is the one you fail to ask." as well as, "better safe than sorry". better these people are ASKING questions, which amswers are common knowledge for some, than just diving into ANY project without all the info they will need to complete it safely. For themselves as well as the other people on the road....Personally i think there are a few people on here, for the specific purpose of waiting till someone askes a "noob" question so they can post that stupid "let me Google that for you" link or otherwise bashing them. Answer the question or go on with your lives, theres no mandatory "answer everything" clause to a CF membership.

Maybe noone is asking the tech questions, as the OP stated, cuz they are afraid of getting flamed by all the people on this forum to be bullies rather than to learn and help fellow jeepers.

There is a great part to the site called the ignore list. You can set it up so that you never have to see posts from people who post nothing but garbage.

There is always facebook too. Lots of XJ and Jeep groups there. Forum overall are dying off. The auto forums will probably be one of the last of the forums to go in a few years.

No, what most of us get pissed over is when someone takes the time to start a thread to ask a question that's literally between asked 10 minutes prior, or when they could have typed it into Google (which I'm sure they used to find the site in the first place) and found the answer themselves QUICKER than they could have typed up their long winded overly specific question.

so my conclusion after 2 pages of thought...

Posters: take the time to research (life isn't hand to you on a platter, Sorry)

Resonders: be a little bit more patcient to those that have "2" posts and probably aren't sure of how to utilize the forum to the fullest efficiency.

Everyone Else: Lets go Wheelin!!!

Thanks CF

i can agree on this. i was the noob asking the "stupid questions" and now i just hate going into the fab section and seeing can i do this? or in the chat section can i run a 4.5 lift with 33's when there is a post about 2 lines down with a the same title. it makes me not want to come on here bc there is nothing good to read or ask questions about

lol this forum is tame to the gmfullsize forum im on. any "stupid" question and the person is instantly ridiculed. it can be pretty funny. it just gets old when the same questions are asked over and over again. i give people **** but ill atleast try to post a link to help those who actually search and come across the thread.

Seems there are always a few members ready to bash anyone, anytime. It's always the same guys whining, "search" or "google". That gets pretty old also.

Well it gets old taking fifteen minuits to answer the same **** multiple times a day when you could have saved everybody time and aggravation by using that magical search bar. Or hell even google because this site's search is junk
