I wheel my about three times a week and got tired of having to really rev mine to get the limited slip to work the way I wanted. You will have to learn how to drive a different way because of the locker so keep that in mind. Once you are used to it it's nothing though. Hope this helps.
So what do 'I have now in the stock Dana 35? 'I take it that it is not limited slip.

What's involved in changing it over to limited slip?

If this is what you are talking about, good grief that is a high priced part. Mine will stay like it is for a long time!

for that price you might as well save up for a 29spline 8.25 or a dana44 and weld it instead of that

You guys are talking way over my head. What is 29 spline? And what needs to be welded?

the higher the spline the stronger, and you have to weld the spiders together to make it act like a spool(both tires get the same amount of power),i reckon your new to jeeps? lol

Yep. I am new. I wish I would have researched a little more about the different axles that Jeep put on their vehicles. I would not have gotten one with a Dana 35.

But I only paid $3000 for the Jeep so it was kind of hard to pass up.

This forum is a lot of help though. I am learning a lot.
