My thing when I sell something on CL is I put EVERY detail on the ad.

If a person contacts me and asks a question that is answered on the ad already I pretty much end our conversation. I may sound like a ***** *ok ok I am* but I cannot stand people who won't even read the ad then start asking dumb questions. I'd rather sell it to someone else.

Personally, right there, I wouldn't call this guy for a single part just because of that.

I buy and sell a lot of stuff on CL, including vehicles.........................
I rarely have an issue....................If the listing price doesn't seem like a fair price to me, I usually don't even bother to contact.........There is plenty more stuff on there to look at............
I also list mine for very fair prices, so I usually make a sale within a day or two.....................

What I have recently found that seems WORSE than CL is the regional for sale groups on facebook. UGNNNN so many of those "testing the waters" or "pic to draw interest" but what I want is completely irrelevant to the pic etc etc etc....

A new one a REALLY love *sarcasm* is "$2500 CASH IN HAND WHAT YOU GOT?"

Or they say make me a offer if you don't know what its worth try kbb or search around craigslist for others like it.The ones they get me laughing hard are the mechanics specials.Like a car needs a timing belt the cars max worth is 3k and the timing belt is 100 bucks ill take 2900 for it kinda adds.With a broken timing belt that car is worth a grand max.

Or people who think the fact they recently did *using that term loosely* the timing belt, oil change, tires, spark plugs will increase the value of a rig. Oh you mean you did basic maintenance and that makes it worth more than market value?

It's my lose my understanding that some people enjoy all the BS and haggling that goes on. Even when they're the buyer of some ridiculous add/item. They believe they are good at the process and it gives them the upper hand. However I can't confirm this because I go into a convulsive state, vomit and sometimes pee myself when encountering these people.
