I googled lifts and found the lift/tire setup thread. Found this site to be a wealth of knowledge. Every question I have, there is a thread for it.
Thanks to everyone that contributes to help a noob feel confident!

Just bought an old Cherokee the other day and have lots of questions. Forums catered to specific groups are the best place to get good answers.

I joined for the great amount of knowledge and spirit of support on CF. and noticed immediately the lack of bashing/belittling of newbies (such as myself). Very refreshing and encouraging to find a great, supportive community such as we have here! :wave

Welcome to all you "Noobs"! yeah this site is great for learning without getting ragged on for NOT knowing everything! There are, of course, quite a few SERIOUS ball busters here, but they are 9/10 times just playin and are actually great guys who will help anyone out.

Btw-01AX15.....WISH i had your trans!

I'm a long time car guy but my buddy got me hooked on offroad and I came here to learn about Cherokees. XJ wasn't my only option before buying. CJ, YJ, XJ, WJ, ZJ, and Scout II were my options. Scout would have been super cool and came in a very close 2nd, but decided to go with the most practical choice.

This was my first forum and still is apart from one in in the Uk, when I log on to my laptop first thing I type in is "cherokee forum"
Great people, Banter and interesting chit chat and loads of excellent information if I need it.
Nice place to be, so I thank all.

I'm sure someone can top me, but my back in the day was about 1986 when I built my 65 Cutlass.

Nice. I had a 67 cutlass when I was 16(1996) Still have the emblems because it went to the junk yard from a colision. Never give a 16 year old a car you dont want them to wreck.

Started on this forum because I needed help with the problems with my jeep. Now I like to help others with their problems.
