Why Me
My Friend left a box of .22 in his cherokee 2001 Limited. His kids dumped the box into the, You guest it, the defrost vent..... Is there any way to get them out with out dissecting the dash?

Live rounds will fire off if they are struck by the fan. Your only option will be to pull the dash apart. I had to do it to my frontier after firing off 1000 rounds from my mirror the shells extracted straight into the defrost vents lol **** made a mess with the HVAC in it. I removed about 100 shells from the nissans blower. Had to completely pull the dash apart for that too. It takes more that 210* to ignite the primer in them so dont worry about the heat.

I know it an't the heat it's the fan that worries me.
I am thinking about trying to talk him into trying to use a magnet to fish for them.
Yes I know, .22 are brass and lead. It will keep it him out of my hair for a few days.
I think a vacuum might be his best bet.
I am thinking of trying to find a place to cut an access port into the vent with a fein multi-master saw.
Suggestions?
