Winch bumper
Im looking for suggestions on a winch bumper to buy, and where from. I found one I like, and the price is good but the wait is minimum 5 to 6 weeks.. But Im hoping to get one a bit sooner than that
What are the best ones out there for the money that aren't extremely heavy and/or bulky, or stick a mile out the front. I dont need anything too fancy, no stingers, just something basic but strong that will accomodate a winch.
If you have pictures of yours please post as the ones on websites are usually mediocre at best..
Thanks!

Check out hudfabs new hidden winch bumper. I plan on getting one this summer. It doesn't stick out far at all, might have to cut the front crossmember..not sure

Logan's Metal Product had a nice, cheep bumper. I got mine for about $325 shipped.... But at the same time... they are hit and miss. When I ordered mine I didn't know about all the problems people had with them, but I got mine after I ordered it in about a week and a half. I got it when they were still on ebay, they got kicked off though from all the complaints. Most with the rear bumper/tire carrier combo. Just be warned if you order from them... you may never see the bumper, though I hear people are still ordering and getting them.
Here it is though. (come bare metal, unless you wanna add powder coat)

After hours of reading it seemed like logans metal products bumper might not be a good choice due to fitment and lack of customer service.. even their facebook page is a disaster.
I decided to go with the JCR bumper. Its a bit more than I wanted to spend, but if it means its gonna look and fit good than its worth it to me. Looks to be a nicely built bumper!

I've been doing some research on this as well. I've decided that when I'm ready to change, this is the bumper I'm going with.

Looks great, seems well built, and doesn't stick out the front half a mile. And from what I can tell, the builder seems like a heck of a nice guy. I'd rather keep my purchases in the Cherokee Forums family if I can instead of sending my money off to Quadratec or some other...
