Wood Project Ideas
In my wood shop class in school, I need to make something out of wood (weird right?) haha. I cannot think of anything to make and was thinking about making something for my cherokee. Any ideas?

LoL, you do have a point. I saw it here on one of the members rides. Seemed functional, but the thought of projectiles behind me isn't a pleasant thought.
I stand corrected.

Yeah I've seen some questionable things done, if people want to do it to their own rig i let it go but I usually point out the hazards when its being recommended to others. lol.
I find the best way to mount a high lift is behind the rear seat horizontal width wise.. if anything happens it'll just hit the seat.. unless you flipped then you're not as worried about the high lift being there. lol

I have access to clamps used in squad cars to hold their guns. Not cheap, but the ultimate in securing items.
There are plenty of other ways to safely secure hardware. Just gotta get creative.

How about a sub box, but you'll need a sub for that, or how about a false floor for the back to deter theft of smaller items.

A patrol table is a good project... I'm a scout leader and I just had the boys build one... It's a great little table! fits easily in the back of the XJ and is really handy when camping on the trails.
and here's a quick pic of it finished and assembled. (It breaks down and sets up in about a minute)
The entire table is cut from one sheet of 5/8 ply... I have the blueprints and such if you're interested...
