No, I don't lick fish.
You wont hear a thing from the beads but a a slight swoosh when the tires stop at stop lights and so on..but you have to have the window down to hear the swoosh sound.. As for how much I used,,,
on the Dyna ballance beads web site they have a chart on how much to put in the tires.. For my 33s it was 8oz per tire..

Great question,, I was told to get solid core beads, if they have a bubble in the middle they are not solid. Some say if they are solid or not on the container. Also dont get biodegradable ones.. the ones I went with are in the pic. I went with .12g size beads. You can go higher in ball/bead weight if you like. Its all about getting all the combined weight of the beads.

That's the cool part..Your wheels can get all packed with mud and or as the tires age the beads will balance any off balance situations .. I did find one downfall, You can never use fix a flat or green slime tire fix with the beads.. So if that is one of your trail band aids for flat tires or small holes it wont work cause all the beads will clump up.. Best to have a spare tire ready to go or one of those tire plug kits. With a tire plug kit the beads can roll around the plug and still act normal.. trust me I know,, drove around with a plugged tire for about two weeks almost three..lol

I never leave home without my spare and a tire plug kit. So that shouldn't be a problem. I know my tire guys too well than to use tire slime lol... they take care of me real good so I don't put slime or fix a flat in my tires... it's the least I can do.
Mower tires... well that's a different story. I change those on my own anyway.

I just put a 4.5" RC lift on my 98 XJ. Now I am trying to figure out what size tires to get. I like BFG A/T ko2's I'm thinking 32 or 33's with Black Rock 997's. Anyone know if either of those will rub? I would like to not have to do any trimming. How much back spacing do I need? Thanks in advance!

32s may still rub lca at full lock, but if you put on the correct bump stops it will be fine up travel wise. 3.75 bs is the norm i hear. 33s mostly always require cutting or trimming. If youre on stock gears your mpg and power will suffer.

I am on 33 K02's and have a 4.5" lift. If youre on the stock gearing depending where you live it might not be too bad. Only time it sucks is step hills really. If you live somehwere flat it goes fine. I also rub the lcas at full lock...

Did you have to trim at all? Do you have the same back spacing gunmetal mentioned...3.75"? Also would wheel spacers make it so you're not rubbing the lcas? Sorry for newb questions I'm still learning all this lol

In any case, make sure you change out your speedometer gear in order to get true mileage readings... otherwise no matter what tire size you switch to, it's going to show a false mileage and MPH reading with the stock speedo gear.
