We actually did that to my buddy's 86 5.0 coupe. It was pretty damn fun. With all the extra weight from the doors gone it felt like we swapped a whole new motor in it. It has a world class t5 transmission, 4.10 gears, long tube headers, off road h-pipe, dynomax race bullets, b303 cam etc and it would **** and get! Haha go for it!

Take off the kicker panel and unplug everything that goes into the door. and youll have to unplug the door switch that turns on the dome light too.

It's not as bad as you would think. I bumpstopped the hell out of mine so it's not bad. Like I've said before, just know your limits and don't try to flex without the swaybars disconnected and don't try to make hairpin turns and you'll be fine. I'm running the stock 15x7 Jeep wheels. If I was running a wider wheel I'd run into a lot more rubbing. I keep the tires aired down to around 25psi to keep them from wearing quickly in the centers.

Mine is RE 4.5 with 1.5 coil spacers(stock isolators removed) on the front. 33s and some trimming.
I DD it and get about 230 miles to a tank.
