I had the entire flag over my roof line and ran it into my garage multiple times and no breaks. The zipties are held by the pvc fittings.

Ended up getting this today, probably gonna drill some holes through the pole to stick that screw through for added security. Wanna have enough time to test it before flag day

those stick out from the bumper like 1.5 feet. They're ridiculously big and heavy.

Ouch I hope it'll work for just the few days, hopefully I can have a buddy cut it down and drill some holes if need be. It didn't look that big at all....Couldn't find the thread where you sold them either (

I don't have a thread selling them, there was just another person talking about flag pole mounts and I mentioned that I make them and sell them. I do my sales mostly through friends and/or Craigslist. I'm not a professional fabricator nor am I a professional welder, but the ones I make I have never had a complaint from anyone I've sold it to, I've never had one break, and I don't charge much because I do it to help people out not to rip them off. I have never made a flag pole 100% perfect, but they hold the flag straight up (or slightly tilted back depending on what is desired) and they don't break. I'm sure if you tried you could break it but I've never had a failure on mine or any others that I've sold. If people are interested I can find out what it'll cost to ship the base and give instructions to make the pole, or make base and pole for local pick up. I'm sure shipping a 5+ foot pole wouldn't be reasonable. It is a side job, so sometimes it may take a few days to get them made and ready to go depending on schedule ad such. If you would like one you can pm me and if I get enough I'll start a separate thread on it.

I had a local off-road shop (American Motorsports) weld a giant pole to my bumper. 4" x 6" flag didn't touch the ground.

Oh no the hatch didn't open. Only had that flag on for a few days around 4th of July last year. Eventually took an angle grinder to it to get rid of the pole.

Managed to do this decent setup for today. Not bad but not too happy with it. Flags too close to the ground, hitch mount needs to be cut and drilled and flag won't catch too much air. Def tweaking it for the 4th of July but least I got it going last minute. Happy flag day everyone!

I told you it sticks out really far haha and use some pvc for a pole. Cheap and easy.

I actually got some 5' conduit for 3 bucks i can't weld so that was my only choice to buy that wasn't outrageous, just gonna chop off a good 4 inches and drill 2 holes for the pins, need to probably get the flag higher so it catches dome air.

Didn't get a chance to modify the holder but still looks decent. Been flying the flag all week including 70mph on a windy day on the hw with no issues. Happy 4th everyone.
