This aint nothing. That cash for clunker program hurt me working at the salvage yard. I watched over 20 low mile cherokees with nothing wrong with them go through the crusher so some person that didnt need the discount could buy a new civic.

yea good idea, ur over there in cali with them next thing u know ull be getting a knock on ur door asking if they can buy that peice of junk in your driveway to test a new myth on.... thats when u get the gun out

I have never thought this way about any other vechicle. They should have taken it to some trails before they ended there lives.

 

not the first show where they used XJs the bulletproof phone book one they shot the engine block with a .50 cal..

I love mythbusters...and using cherokees is not odd at all, since they are CHEAP, and are a match for the SUV factor of the movie. Even though it is a perfectly logical choice for them, I still found myself a little upset to see them crashed over and over. There is something wrong with all of us

It makes me wonder if there are "vehicle X" enthusiast boards that have this same conversation when they destroy other vehicles for other myths...

 

Just saw it. All I can say it was only a matter of time they got an xj to destory, the xjs aren't the only great car they've decided I've seen some pretty decent classic mopars destoryed, they also destory to perfectly fine 67 impala for the rocket car myth. I enjoy the mythbusters but they need to start picking some actual crap cars like explorers, civics, etc. Leave the xjs and classics alone!
