XL swap
How hard is it to do both axles? I have a donor jeep. It needs new exhaust and manifolds. I plan on pulling my old lift kit off it. The brakes, rotors, drums, and ball joints were newer on that one also. They're both 98s. The one that drives has shot front axle shafts. I'm thinking it would be easier to just pull both axles right off the old one and reattach to the newer, drive able one. Any opinions? What parts will I have to replace? Bushings only? Any thoughts or write ups are appreciated. Thanks.

We ended up replacing all the bushings in the upper and lower control arms. so yes we pulled everything off. It was nice to have my son and son-in-laws help to get everything lined back up. You want to just snug the bolts up on the control arms and wait until it is back on the ground to tighten the control arms bolts back up. It was a great learning experience, and gives me the confidence to tackle the 8.8 axle I have for it in the future.
