Well after I got off and got the transmission all fixed up I decided to take the trim off and clean her up and I think it looks 100 times better next hope fully I'd the lift!!!

It looks good. Just park further out at a store. Usually when i do that it always seem i come out and someone is parked next to me. By the way thanks i was just getting ready to see if anyone has done this i think i will do this.

looks very nice clean, digging that bike though, what type of bike is it? I know i took a butane torch to my black plastic trim and it returned to factory color and has stayed that way for a good 4 months now.

Very nice! I took mine off, dyed it, put new tape and put it back on only to take it off two days later. Wasn't fun removing the tape the second time, but a little easier and worth it. I figure eventually it would fade and peel up again so why deal with it. I had some serious missing paint under one from the previous owner using some kind of silicone but that was easier to body work and paint than dealing with restoring the molding. Once it comes off it's really hard to mold back too. I used 3m super strong acrylic tape and even after two days the ends had minor signs of peeling up.
Now some krylon fusion to complete my fenders, they were so far gone that the dye didn't work.
Anyways, clean looking jeep, there's just something about white ones! Especially with no ugly trim!
