Default You think these will clean up good?

Well I finally decided against the 5 hole gamblers and settled on the turbines. They are just too cool. If all else fails I'll go with the extra stock rims I have. I found a set of turbines that I think I can get pretty cheap since they need cleaning and are missing the center caps so I'll have to find some of those turbine center.....which by themself are really cool.

Also think I'm going to try to find a set of 30x9.5/15 tires since most seem OK on stock suspension. But I am finally going to put a 2 inch on this but first I need replace my radiator and of course get new(er) tires and rims.

Thing is, if I get them I want them to shine up pretty good. So what do you think?

they should clean up fine.

Got a dollar store type place near you?

Pick up Aome Awesome Cleaner in a spray bottle. Use it full strength. won't attack aluminum. Very inexpensive and comes in it's individual spray bottle for $1. I buy it by the cartful.

Thank you Cruiser. Just sent a dude a message about some 30x9.5/15 all terrain tires. Hopefully it works out.

Nice! I've seen others paint the inside black. I think it looks good and I normally hate stuff like that. But on these rims they look equally good either way

Ok the first set I let get by.....like an idiot.....because I forgot to save the guys contact information from Craigslist and then the listing expired. I would have went and got them immediately because they were so cheap, but my Jeep was down and I was trying to get it back going, hence why I forgot to save his contact in the first place. Dang, that was a long sentence.

I am now learning.....like an idiot.....how hard it is to find these turbine rims, at least where I'm at. Or maybe it's just one of those things that because you want it they are no where to be seen. I see those canyon rims everybody loves all over the place. Along with every other Jeep stock rim haha. Turbines.....cricket, cricket.

Until today. I searched, & scrolled, & scrolled and I found a set with all 4 center caps with worthless tires on them (don't need anyway). He's asking $100. Think I can talk him down since they have been what appears to be spray painted black.......boo.

Basically, will they still clean up just as nice even though they been spray painted black? Use paint stripper I assume? Sand them? Plenty of threads on laying down black paint but none on removing it. If these seem like idiot questions.....I am an idiot....I have never had aluminum rims before. Either chrome or steel. I just know I've always wanted turbine rims.
