I look at it this way:
The more luxurious, the more parts, the more doodads and seat heaters, the more stuff you're going to have to fix down the road. ZJs are nice, but they have more to go wrong.
Also, just think about how much money you would save buying 6 spark plugs vs. 8 lol

stick with the jeep you already have. the problems with the grand cherokee is that you dont know what they are. It could be a great running jeep or have problems that you wont know about untill its 3 months later. you never know why the person sold the jeep in the first place but no one will sell a perfect car these days. I would stick with what you have because you have put money into it running good and the only thing you know about the zj is that it has such n shuch parts. One thing my father told me is that if it has offroad tires and offroad parts, its a safe bet to say its been offroad and its been in rough terrain. Your better with your stock tires and lift because you can more likely say your jeep hasnt been abused. I say build the xj rather than buy a zj. Built not bought is what its all about. In the end you will know exactly what your rig can handle and have more confidence on the road and off.
