No offense to xjs but I would want a 4x4 12valve cummins. That way it can handle extra weight still has 4x4 and the mpg and fule would be easier to get. On my 98 I get 500 miles a tank so with an extra 50g in the bed you can drive a long time

if you can prove that zombies are real and can turn into a national problem then ill be worried but as of right now its all a joke... something to make people fear, thats what our government wants they want us to fear stupid stuff so they can keep us in control cause if we really knew what was going on in the government everyone of us rednecks/hillbillys/ and yankees be storming the government and killing all the politicians

I think I would wait out in my house for a while. My xj would stay as is and only be used to relocate or search for supplies. I would put the hurricane shutters down and park the jeep in the garage to have a better chance of getting the family in. I have plenty of ammo for my sub2000, ps90 and 10/22 and would work on fortifying my house. After the initial panic and chaos would probably be the best time to venture out.
