dont think the borders would be to easy to cross in an outbreak.
if someones infected there all hell will break loose.
id prob go to the mountains somewhere.
ever see zombies climb? prob funny. but thats where id go.
but ever see 'wrong turn'. theres nuts out in the mountains also.
so whats worse??

as for the wrong turn senario you just gotta scout out locations that could be potentionally fill with crazies. or just be ok with murder.

haha thats determination! and as for the mountains that would be a good spot, i think id rather be with the crazies than the zombies, they would at least know good ways to kill them, id try to make peace with them somehow

Lots of interesting things here.
I don't have much time, so I'll make this one quick and post more later if I have the chance.
Anyway, a 12 gauge would be useless. Ammo will be easy to find, but its bulky. .22LR would be the best. One shot to the head and that little slug is bouncing around inside, no more zombie. And its just as available as 12 gauge, but you can fit hundreds of thousands of rounds in an XJ.
For all you going North, have fun freezing. I'm going to find an old school prison with stone walls and a court yard. Why? Several reasons.
Remote opening/closing doors. You can't beat that in a zombocalypse. Chances are prisoners aren't loose, so if infected it'll be easy to control/exterminate.
We all know how strong prisons are built. Zombies aren't getting in, at least if you choose the right one.
That court yard will come in super handy when I start my garden to grow food.
Most prisons have medical facilities, huge kitchens, weapon caches, pretty much everything you'd need to survive for the duration of the outbreak.
Not to mention plenty of space to park lots of XJs.....

I like the prison idea. Also some of these old school castles that are still standing would be nice.
