Ya but the Jeep can mount a 4.0 easier then a 350. Less gas usage plenty of power. A cherokee doesn't need a 350 to power it unless your pushing 52" with 25" of lift. Then ya 350... The 4.0 though just stock has more then enough power and will last for years and years to come. I'm running 250,xxx and can still white smoke my 33" and I haven't put hardly anything in the motor. Starter, valve cover gasket, plugs, wires, and cap. It's stock other than that and runs better then some brand new vehicles.
There were a lot of times with my '90 Cherokee that I wished I had the extra power, even with the 4.56 gears.

Lol I'm going to do a Russian camo it's blues and grey had to do a base coat of blues first but yeah should be done some time this week not going to do anything today because it my birthday

Ok so I've painted all of it blue except for the roof the 350 in the backyard fell through so i have started looking around On craig's list found a chevy blazer that has a 350 in it with 33" tires with good tread on them for $500 every thing works so I'm going to look at it with my uncle today and make sure the engine is good lol will let you know and will take pics of the jeep when paint is done

Well finished painting the base coat. If the rain would ever stop I could do some stuff on the jeep. But on a good note got the wife's Honda civic running today thou

Alright so we won first place in the parade and got front page in the news paper in the club yesterday pulled the engine out of the blazer and have it on the engine stand to start working on it I'm so excited will hopefully have the bumper welded together tomorrow at work then powder coated and on the jeep after work maybe Tuesday for the powder coating we shall see will put pics on after words it was a long weekend

ok bro here's the deal i did that conversion but i used a 4.3 TBI not a V8 witch is the same befor you start do some reading on parts you might need here is the link to do thee home work . hope it's as helpfull as it was for me .

here is my conversion
here is where i had to cut my floor pan for the Tcase Shifter Tranny is 700r4 Tcase is 231 motor is 4.3L TBI converted to Caburator for now i have everything to go back to TBI if needed

Thanks buddy I have already done the pricing and reading and thinking and all of that before i put this post up thanks for the help thou means alot, but I'm not cutting like you did because I'm putting the ax15 behind mine so I won't have to cut into the floor like you did
