2000 XJ Interior Mods
I am getting tired of my XJ and I want to do something new with it. I am a college student so I am looking for something that won't clean out my wallet and is easy to do with little complications.
Can I see some things that you all have done on the interior of your XJ's, Pics would be awesome!
Thank you

Check out Azzy's design works. They make gauge cluster panels in any design you want along with hvac panels to match. I think it's ~$40 for the gauge panel and ~$10 for the hvac.

Full interior (and exterior) LED light swap. Easy to do, adds a little bit of personal flair and I really dig the hushed undertones my XJ gives off when I pick up my dates

I'm working on a full LED swap. Changes my side markers and they work and look great. Got to my front blinkers and they have issues. The passenger side stays on and doesn't blink. The left side doesn't even light up.
Any ideas why the fast blinking? Also..is there a meter or anything I can use to test if my driver side sockets are even working?
Thanks

they make led flashers you will need to install. you need the adapters because the leds consumer considerably less power than normal bulbs and it sees it as a bad bulb. you should also plan on replacing all the bulbs that flash with the signals. This is not necessarily the right flasher but a link to the sight.

One of the first things I did to my interior was clean it thoroughly. I removed the seats and seat covers and tossed the covers in the washing machine. Night and day difference, my Cherokee now smells like fresh laundry every time I get in to it.
I did the LED swap too, cheap and easy. There is a guy somewhere on CF who sells the lights all bundled together.

they sell mirror replacements on amazon that are exact replacement for the chevys/ buicks etc. you can find them with auto dimming but tend to cost money. i replaced one in my impala that had manual dimming but has built in mirror lights that will trigger either with the dome or with a switch on the mirror. it will require modding a harness together that splices into the dome circuit.
