3 inch lift tire size? all these threads giving me mixed answers
can someone help me clarify and like agree on if 245/75/R16's would be to small for a 3" lift??
I got some people saying way to small and some people saying perfect size??

General consensus here seems to be 31X10.50R15 is the size tire for a 3" lift. Not all 31's are created equal though . Check out the size your asking about in the link below:

you get many opinions on tire size. a 31 inch tire will fit easily with 3 inch lift, ive had 32s on 3.5 lift and mostly stock trim with a front bumper or it would've rubbed.

No way........ that half inch difference between 30.5 and 31 is not acceptable.
Just kidding. Thats smaller than 31, so there should be no issue with it fitting.

I accented everything . Rebuilt the engine , done the calipers, rear drums, tie rod ,track bar, coil springs, etc. It's basically a new XJ.
