Hey guys, I'm doing a 3" Rough Country on my 2000 XJ sport and wanna put on 31" Wrangler Duratracs. I know I'm gonna have to trim so where do I start?

31's will be fine if you use a rim with 4.75" of backspacing or even stock wheels. Although the stock wheels the tires will rub the lower arms at full lock. Adjusting the steering stops will stop that though

I have a 3" rough country lift kit and 31" tires. I've never had any problems at all with rubbing. I've been through some tough **** too.

I had to trim the stock bumper caps some. Normal driving it didn't rub but turning while going over a bump or up driveway caused it to rub.

Plus I rub the LCA's on full clock.

I'm running 3"s with 31's. If your just daily driving it you'll be fine, if your rock crawling then you'll start having issues, longer bump stops will keep your tires from tearing up your flares and your fenders

the only trimming I had to do was on the plastic end caps. I have a 3 in rc lift with lower controll arms and a extra add a leaf in the rear
