ACOS Bumbstops. What now?
I bought the ACOS adjustable coil spacers from JKS awhile back. For install, the directions called to cut the stock bumbstops out and use the drill in ones from the adjustable spacers. I now have plans to take the adjustables out and replace with longer coil springs. What can I do about my bumbstops after taking the spacers out?

Don't know which year you have but older XJ's the bump stop you just screw off and then just assemble the ACOS with it's bump stop. Later models you have to cut off old bump stop at the seam and tap a hole to assemble the ACOS system. If you had to cut and tap I would think you could look for the older type bump stop and screw it on after you remove the ACOS. I know 89 was screw type and 94 was welded. Not sure when the switch over happened.
