Hey, if any of you are running 30" tires with NO lift and dosnt have sacked out rear springs, could you please tell me the distance from the ground to the bottem of your rear bumper?

I'm peacing a lift together and would like to know the rough idea of where I'll be sitting compaired to a stock xj. I know most people messure from center of axle to the fender/flair, but after trimming I dont think that will give me accurate messurments. I primarly ask because I have 2" lift shackles and a set of rear springs, the guy i got them from claims 4" of lift but said there just stock springs with AAL's. I want to put them on and see the amount of lift they acually give me..

My plan- roughly 4" of lift on 33"s.

Springs were great. Shocks were crap (didn't expect much there) but shipping was OUTRAGEOUS compared to what other ship for.

Look at Zone there's a vendor on here that will hook it up. Unless Rustys shipping to you isn't high.

Call them about it. Their website marks it up one category. I've called three different times and it's always "hmmm wow it seems to have been placed in express mail! That's odd..."

Ha.

I did give em a call when I went to order their OTK steering.

It was only $30 on their site. I called to order and THAT'S when they hit me with the big quote. $90.

They wouldn't budge. Lady told me it was because it was "3 boxes" so it couldn't be any cheaper.

IRO shipped me their (heavy ***) otk, with 5/8th hardware, and double shear track bar for well under $60.

I'm not saying their bad, just too expensive to ship to Indianapolis. Or at least me...

I'm thinking shocks and steering are limiting my droop. Gonna measure shock length tomorrow to be sure.

When trying to decide on my lift I asked about Rusty's and no one had any complaints about the rear springs, and they give you decent enough shackle angle. I was looking at Rusty's, Zone, and OME. Rustys shipping is higher than Zone's but their lift is cheaper...at least for me in KC.

Rustys 3" $438 + $113 s&h = $551
Zone 3" $510 + $97 s&h = $607

Thats through their website's. So their shipping isn't that much more than Zone's. However, I decided to piece my lift together, I'm getting 2" OME leafs and a lift shackle in the rear. My friend gave me some used Rancho coils, otherwise I probably would have run Rusty's in front. My $.02.
