Just look at pics with 3.75 inch back spacing. It's only a quarter inch difference. I think it would look great with flat flares.

They stick out pretty far, even under TJ flares.

Mine are 15x8 with 3 1/2" backspacing. Look through my photos and it might help you out.
Heres those wheels with 32's and 4.5".

I would probably go for 31's on a 3" lift but I don't think 30's will look out of place. As for death wobble no one knows until you get it lifted, but at 3" you will probably be fine as long as your front end is correct and aligned (you'll want to check all tie rod ends, ball joints & bushings up front).

It eliminates vibrations caused by extreme driveline angles associated with lifted vehicles. The stock rear DS has a slip joke and 2 u-joints and will bind up to some degree when lifted and/or the driveline angles are close to perfect. Replacing the slip yoke with a fixed yoke (SYE) with a CV joint on that end is a more robust design for such a short DS.

I would at least go 31"s. I have 31" on my 3" lift and I think they look small.

I'm sure its been asked a bajillion times but how big of a tire can fit a 3" lift without trimming (on 3.75" BS wheels)...I was just about to search it but you went and brought the subject up...
