Who had problems with the IRO long arms?
Just wondering because I was looking into those

Yea it's for caster adjustment...what else would it be for?
Guess what holds your axle in place with that kit...
1 10 mm bolt. That is it.

Honestly, that kit is plenty strong for most of CF. I won't personally buy it because of that caster adjustment setup (because I'd rather save up and spend more on something way stronger than I'll ever need), but IRO's setup isn't necessarily weak. How much force is really on that bolt?

I assume you're talking about the single upper control arm bolt. Clearly no where near 1 ton or all of the weight is on that bolt. It's way further from the center of force than the 2 LCA bolts.

You're right. What was I thinking?
The IRO long arm '3 link' is by far the most superior set-up on the market.
I plan to sell my RK 3 link and buy the IRO '3-link' as soon as I can.

Your comment was backed up by "I sure hope for my life that the bolt doesn't break."
I'm sure Chrysler designed the stock suspension to use 2 10mm bolts for a reason.
Maybe not.

As I said before, I wouldn't use it because of that inherent weakness. It isn't as strong as some other LA setups because of that caster setup, but I would still say it's adequate for most people on here. The price is tough to beat, too.
