Well, got my leaf springs in today. took all weekend, but the rear is done.
I upgraded my u-bolts and plates. Got them from "Ruffstuffspecialties", they werent cheap. They are huge 5/8" u-bolts, 3/8" plates, 1/4"washers.
The stock torque spec is 52 ft.lbs.. Theres no way thats tight enough for these suckers. Does anyone know what I should torque them to?

I am doing a 3.5 " kit on my 1993 XJ. here is the kit:
http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/...UL&w=400&h=400
The kit says to run 32/1150's on it. I work in the wheel and tire industry and there are no real options in that size. So my question is does anyone in here have a 3.5" lift running 33s? Did you have to trim anything? any info will be greatly appreciated!

I had the same issue looking for 32" tires. I decided to get 16" wheels and got 265/75R16 (32x10.5). Tires are a bit more costly but I got a heck of a lot more to choose from.

You'd probably have to trim to run 32's on a 3.5" lift anyhow...just not as much. I'm going to run 32's on my 4-4.5" lift, should have very minor trimming to do (just on the flares probably).
