C8.25 with USA Alloy chrome-moly 27-spline shafts vs D44 with stock shafts. I have both axles at my house. Both with lockers. Which should I run?

Different question. This is for a friend that already has a 4-5" short arm kit but I'm curious too. For long arms upgrade kits. A radius kit vs a true 3-link kit for moderate rock crawling? Clayton is what he's looking at and the price is about the same.

rims!!
so I have a 1996 Cherokee classic with a 3 inch rough country lift. I already have 33 inch nitto terra grapplers and want to know of some CHEAP black rims. Any ideas???

Jegs, Summit, Serious Offroad. They alternate on sales, but one of them usually has the best prices. You want 5x4.5 bolt pattern and 3.5-4" BackSpacing.

If I get 6.5 inches of lift do I need new driveshafts? I know I need one because of the SYE that will be required but do/should I replace both?

So I'll be installing a 3.5" ome lift soon, and am trying to decide what rim back spacing to go with when I buy new rims, looking at 31x10.5 tires. Dirk from dpg suggested 4.25" back spacing. Suggestions? Trying to avoid rubbing and not planning on cutting fenders.

I'm running 3.75, no rubbing on the LCA's. I did have to trim my flares a bit but I clear the fenders with no problem.

I run 4.25 BS on mine with 32" tires. 4.5" lift in front and 4" in the rear. I have no issues with rubbing, other than at full flex because I haven't put bumpstops in yet (I know, I know...its coming). The benefit of the 4.25 BS is it'll tuck in the fender a little better, but honestly its only 1/2" difference to a 3.75"...
