I ran 33x12.5s Duratracs on 15x10 wheels with 4" BS, under a 3.5" lift with factory LCAs. I had a basic cut and fold in the rear, and I had to trim the rear of the front fenders significantly for clearance when turning.

All those numbers are important.

Exjay, do your tires actually measure 32", or is that the advertised height?

At 5" and 32's i'm still rubbing the front of my fenders when turning sometimes. But i've got 3.5" backspacing so my tarz stick out a little far. If I cut the front fender off at the header panel they would never rub, but i'm lazy So i just took a hammer and rounded the part of the fender it was hitting instead. Still rubs, just doesnt cut muh tarz.

They say as a rule of thumb. 3" lift=31" tire....Soo if you do a 3.5" lift ... You can't go over 31.5 to keep the ratio, and it doesn't exist. So just get 31" toyo at2s and call it good. Not ugly trimming, no problems. Plug and play

This is correct. It all depends how warn the suspention parts are. Specificly Leafs.
Avoid this by replacing your l springs

hello,
this is my first post!.

I live in Brazil and I have a 98 xj 4.0. I am very happy with the Jeep!

I am needing to import a lift kit 3 "because I want tires for 31" MUD

Could let me know which manufacturers are best below:

- Rough Country
- Rancho
- Rugged Ridge (ORV)

These above are well priced and available in stores delivering in Brazil.

Thank you.

Sorry, but I use google translator.

Hey everyone... I have a question.... this may sounds pretty dumb but I don't know much about vehicles as I am still learning and have LOTS to learn.

I currently own a 1998 Cherokee that has a 3" lift and 31's on it. I originally got it because I thought it would make the jeep look pretty high but I am kind of disappointed and would like it to sit a bit higher. I guess a 4.5 inch lift would seem about perfect to me.. being I saw one recently.

The question is... is there any way possible I can make my lift higher for a REASONABLE price... aka. Not paying for a whole new lift? Would 33's make it look decently higher or what other options are there? Or am I kind of stuck with what I have unless I want to take off this lift and buy another?

Please shoot me with suggestions... comments... questions... All positive feedback please!

Thanks in advance,

CW

Out of that list I would go with Rough Country. I recommend the kit with the new complete rear springs (not the add-a-leaf) it is worth the extra money.

What are the lift components currently on the truck? Blocks? Taller coils? Add a leaf? Longer Shackles? Coil Spacers?

I just pulled a complete long arm setup from a junker and will be putting it on my wheeler. I'm guessing the lift was about 4-5".

It appears to be partially factory made and partially modified, but it is sound and study. The donor jeep had a stock panhard bar, and the shock on the driver's side was slightly crushed in on the sides (didn't know until I had already pulled the axle, so I don't know what rubbed). It might also have a slight bend in the shaft, as it hangs up at 4" extention but goes in if I twist the shaft around the other way.

I want to make the most out of the longarm and get the best articulation and tune it in the best possible way. Is there anything I need to know or any common problems others encounter?

If/Should I replace the panhard bar, is there a recommended aftermarket, or should I use tube and make one with heims joints?
