I only spent $540 from the vendor on here for my Zone 4.5 kit AAL, with nitro shocks and a steering stabalizer, with t case drop. No vib. Rides really nice and has held up great so far.

Default Help mee!

I have a 91 xj with about a 3 inch in the rear(blocks) and about a 2 inch spacer on the frount coils. It has sky jacked short arms and rough country shocks in the fount and none in the rear.. I got a deal today on a 6.5 roufgh count coil and was thinking about some rusteys leafs in the rear.. I'm only 16 and doing everything my own.. I's this too big of a project? I know I would need so e brand line, adjustable track bar and bump stops.. But what else? Please help!

Coils, leafs, brake lines, shocks, SYE and driveshaft, track bar, new steering, LCAs, UCAs, extended sway bar links, bumpstops. Maybe a rear axle swap depending on what size tires.

Then I'd also put in an 8.25 or D44 rear axle, assuming you have a D35 right now. You'd also want new gears.

Tcase drop is probably easier, and cheaper. Why do you want one more inch? 4"+ is about where it starts getting expensive.

Ok Dukie,
thank you

with the rear springs out 2x full value!

But I always thought it would be better, because all the new kit will be: damper, springs and links.

With 3 "of lift and tires 31" is that it is necessary SYE? or depends on the behavior of the Jeep after placement?

"shouldn't" need an SYE. Like anything though, install the lift first and see how it reacts.

All xjs respond differently. Mine vibrated like a b!tch at 3", when my uncles 98, (same year) was lifted 6.5 shortly after, and had small vibes. And the u-joints were new and after wore enough so no vibes were felt. So no sye or tcase drop was needed.

How big of a tire can i run without needing to regear. i'm not sure which axles i have, it's a stock 99 classic 4x4 that didn't have a tow package. i'm starting to do my research for the lift and tire setup i want, but I need to know how big of a tire i can run before i decide which lift to go with.
