At 4.5" you definitely need an adjustable trac bar. Also, go to the parts store and ask for 95 wrangler soft brake lines. They are around 3-4" longer than stock longer than stock

I just made a bastard pack using stock XJ leafs. I used the main with eyes cut off and the next longest leaf. I got rid of the 1" block and now I'm sitting level. The problem is now the ride comfort. It's really bouncy. I'm not sure if its rough because where I cut the eyes off or the fact that my shock now only has about 1/2" down travel. Where should I start in your opinions? A few pics attached.

Probably also has to do with your shackle angle. Looks almost vertical. That can cause a very stiff bouncy ride in the rear

You have inspired me! I was just talking about doing what you did over in the ask a question thread. Wasn't sure if any lift would be given.
Thanks.

You should start with new shocks. If they're maxed out they're not working properly.

Cool. I'm right about 4" lift with the 1 1/2" shackles.

Sweet. I'm just looking into as a temp on my DD until I get an OME kit, but if I get it riding nicely without OME leafs then I'm a roll with that. XJ bastard pack, shackle relocation things and a stock or 1" shackle. I'm aiming for no more than 3". We'll see still got a lot to do before that.

I have a problem with my front shock busting out the bushing at the bottom of the shock. I bought the XJ and it had a pro comp 3 inch lift replaced the front shock with Rough County and still have the issue.

looking to replace my beautiful sagged out stock leafs and 3" blocks with a 3"-3.5" leaf pack. (not level anyway, i think im 1/2" lower in the rear so preferrably 3.5 leafs)... still on stock shackles too of course.. wondering if i need reloaction bracket or not.. i guess with minimal lift gains..

whati'm getting at is i finally set aside some money to finish the jeep that i lifted for $100 lol, so any suggestions on getting rid of the bs in the rear and getting the 3.5 with new leaf packs i need?

side note: im picking up a double shear track bar from iro, but their 3.5 packs are 3 hundred something.. just figured i can find a better price than that

Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks

I've done a little searching and was unable to find an answer so i'm asking here. if i wan't to run a 31x10.5 what should my back spacing be on the wheels, if any, or should i use spacers and if so how much would i need? i'm thinking of running grabber at2's in a 31x10.5x15. i'm trying to stick with an 8 to 8.5 inch wide wheel to keep cost and weight down a little.
