Who makes a true 1" shackle? JKS? Stock MJ?

I had bought a Zone 1" shackle for my DD because its greaseable. Its the same length eye to eye as a set of RC 2" shackles that I have though. The RC has two settings though. One is supposed to be 1.5" I think. I might use that until I figure out a shackle with 1" lift. OR, just go for relocators and a new stock shackle.

A longer shackle will make your angle worse in accordance with the Pythagorean Theorem. Stock MJ shackles are about 3/4" IIRC. Relocators and a longer (~1.5") shackle would be your best bet.

If you get the relocator's, do them justice by not using a stock shackle. Keep the RC shackles, and get a relocation bracket set. I recommend Froelich Suspension.

X2. FST and LII seem to be most popular.

I was looking at HD Offroad ones. They advertise as 1 5/8" lift. I don't want the no lift ones, maybe. I just don't know about tearing up my carpet to put bolts through the top. Or if I want to get that involved on my DD.

With the relocators, and a proper shackle angle, doesn't that make the shackle give less lift?

That would be ideal, MJ shackles, Relocators and a 1" XJ/XJ bastard pack.

I don't want more than 2.5" lift. Could tolerate a bit more, but want to keep it all under 3" front and rear, I want to stick with 30" tires and not look like I need bigger tires. Lol

Most relocation brackets give 5/8" lift, and that compensates for the change in shackle angle. A 1.5-2" shackle will give you the lift you're looking for when paired with relo brackets.

I went with the FST low pro, I did a lot of research on all of them, and decided on them mainly because I wanted no lift. It was kind of hard to coerce myself into cutting out the stock boxes, my DD and all, but it was well worth it!!!

Yes, with proper angle, your springs will set right, which can either level you out or lower the rear a tad. The stock shackle with the FST is not long enough to clear, for proper articulation, so I ordered the RC 1-2" shackle and the system works perfect!

Sounds good. I'll probably expiriment with the shackles I have (RC) until I get the bastard pack right anyways. I still got a to-do list long as could be that I keep adding to.

No kidding. I didn't really know what catching the Jeep sickness was until this past year.

I've been looking at the same. JKS is good, a tad pricey, but its also single shear. IRO had an option for 1.5-3" lift double shear but I didn't see it on their site last I looked.

IRO DS track bar has two options.
I think the numbers are 0-3.5" or 3-7"

I personally won't run any other track bar except IRO double shear.

That's what I thought. I looked the other night because I was thinking about it and it didn't have option anymore. Maybe you have to add to cart? Dunno. I hope its still available.
