Yes offset will help. 3.75 is fine

Thank you guys for the help! I greatly appreciate it. I'm sure I will eventually change those control arms out. Also, as my geometry of the Jeep changes, the rub may or may not go away so we will see. Thank you once again!

Wasn't there a company that made sway bar mount spacers for the XJ as a cheaper solution to swaybar issues once lifted?

Terrible design. Just moves the sway bar down into harms way, just get extended links or don't run a sway bar.

Thumbs up Cherokee XJ Tires

I decided to make this thread for those--like me-- are curious as to anything regarding wheels and tires. Post what you have--size, wheels, backspacing, and offset. Let me know what you recommend--personally, I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee sitting on 31s, however, I am looking for 33s and new wheels with some nice backspacing to give a good stance (or offset). Don't be afraid to ask questions as I, along with other forum members will be kind enough to answer them!

Remember, "It's a Jeep Thing".

38 TSL bias on 15x8 beadlock steelies with 4" of backspacing. Wouldn't recommend these tires on stock axles. I would't recommend them on my axles but I'm running them anyway.

What axles are you using? I wouldn't dare running 35s on mine. I have a front spicer35 and a rear (just upgraded) Chrysler 8.25. Also, what site, and or place, do you recommend for finding good wheels?

Your front is a Dana 30 not a 35 and I like Summit and Jegs for wheels. I'm running a D44/60 combo with chromo shafts. It's all in my sig.

Oh duh, that's what I meant. I was thinking 35 because that is what I just replaced. I want to do the D44/D60 Combo. How hard was it? Any custom fabrication or extra parts?

My duratracs have been pretty good in all conditions. Offroad I take them down to 9psi in the front 8 in the rear and haven't had too much trouble yet.

I was thinking Duratracs.. I just don't know what tire/rim combo will give me a more aggressive looking stance. Any recommendations?
