I have a chart at home that I can link to tonight. You could always use the second leaf, or 3&4, or whatever combination works for your application with the donor pack that you get.

Just finished up the front install of the Rancho kit on my '00.

Like a *******, didn't stop to think that maybe i'd need an adjustable track bar.

Don't want to mess with a drop bracket, don't want to re-drill.

Amazon.com: Rubicon Express RE1600 Front Track Bar: Automotive Amazon.com: Rubicon Express RE1600 Front Track Bar: Automotive

This is a good bet for a baby lift?

So you're thinking another leaf or two on each side should get up 2 inches? Is there a specific leaf you suggest? Like the main, 2nd, 3rd, etc...

No spring sag or anything? I don't recall where I read it, but I read on a forum somewhere that shackles tend to flatten the leaf out.

I know adding more leaves will lift me and I will have to adjust accordingly, I am looking for same main bolt from front eye to center stock cherokee I think is 23" but getting to maybe a 30" rear part where a stock cherokee again I think is 28 5/8" (main leaf)

Nope, they're on another members xj now with a nice positive arch. And I beat the **** out of them. IMHO if you have quality leafs you'll be alright.

That tends to happen with people who run shackles on stock leafs or ones with an aal.

My experience was 3'' rc leafs 2'' shackles. I had a 90° angle and beat the **** out of the leafs.

You should get the shackles relocation brackets that add about 1.5''-2'' of lift. With that you will get a good shackle angle, and you'll be able to make you leafs flatter for better ride quality and flex iirc.

Depends on the condition of your leafs and the donors. It'll be trial and error.

True for stock leafs. Read what my89xj said.

If the leaf(s) you use is shorter than the main, it won't matter. Just stack them from shortest on bottom to longest up top. Main may not work, but the pack will contain what you need.

it doesn't matter. One side you'll cut off the eye right next to it, the other side you cut ~5" off at the eye. You do not use the dakota main to attach the pack to the truck.

2" lift over stock is going to be VERY tough to achieve with a bastard pack. All the springs used for built up packs have significantly more arch than the stock xj pack. The least you can expect to get is 3" with 4 leafs. I used XJ main - dakota main, dakota 3rd, xj 4th and got 3".

Ok, I am trying to get a longer main to run with my shackle relocators, am I reading what yall say wrong or somegthing here. I want to run about a 30" back side spring, it will be about 1 1/2 " longer than the XJ main, then I can adjust height from there... I know I can cut off my old main spring eyes and such and use them in there, but am looking for a longer main spring, not longer secondaries etc..? 3" would be my max goal..

So I bought a new jeep to replace my dead one ( RIP white Cherokee) so of course i am putting a lift on it first thing, but this one has the NP242 T-case while my old one had the NP231. I am looking at the 4.5" X-series lift from rough country but the T- case drop included in the package is for the 231 only. any suggestions? My old jeep had the same lift but the old style rough country.

1. Don't buy RC
2. Don't use a TC drop
3. Use an SYE instead
