If I want to just do a 2in budget boost and I buy a lift including only spacers, this will make my ride very rough correct?? So I would want to replace the springs and shocks to make the ride better, like back to stock feel? I was thinking about doing EMU front and rear springs, and then monroe magnum shocks. WOuld that be a good combination? Any cheaper, but just as effective alternative for the EMU springs? They seem a bit pricey, but I'm hearing they are the best... Thanks for any help!

Longer brake lines, prolly a transfer case drop maybe longer sway bar links.
Also i just put on a 3in lift with 31s and I drove around to test it out, its nice went on the highway went around 80mph and no vibrations in my steering wheel just need to get an alignment done. Anyway the problem is when im in a turn like saying on the highway ramp and accelerating i get a wobble its not vibrations but like a wobble feeling in the steering wheel, is this the death wobble ppl talk about ? And how do I fix this ??

...One of 3 things provided it is not the tire or wheel.
Unit Bearing
Ball Joint
or axle u-joint.
Find the play and you found the problem.
After the lift did you reset the caster - pinion angle? And return the toe to neutral (for those with the 242 transfer case) or 1/8" (231 TC).

^ I am actually waiting on getting a track bar and then i will go and get the alignment. So I guess after I do that I can then see if I still have the wobble problem.
And I am running 31x10.50

I read this is because the track bar is pulling and pushing on the frame and axle causing the steering to be pulled back and forth because they are both connected to the axle (at different locations of course but still the axle essentially). Apparently a common problem on solid axle vehicles.
I did lower the rear down one inch. It was really sitting too high anyway. That seemed to help some too. But I have driven the Jeep all week and have gotten used to the lift and steering so it does not seem to feel as exaggerated as it did at first.
I stopped by the junk yard today and picked up a front drive shaft and got it installed. I did not have to adjust my pinion angle at all. Apparently RC's measurements on the control arms were spot on.
Took the Jeep for a little off roading and it did great!

How are the rough country track bars? im looking at this one http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-adj...-bar_7572.html seems like a reasonable price.
