Yeah preciate it and so when I put the 8.8 in I'm not going to be able to turn as sharp? Correct me if I miss understood that from above?

Does anyone have anymore pics with 33-35's with an ford 8.8 showing maybe how much farther the rear will stick out or just some pics of an xj with an 8.8 with 33-35's!

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-476...-assembly.html here is a website that has a complete built 8.8 can anyone give me information on which of the drop down tabs things to pick out of the drop down tabs? If that don't really make sense let me know and ill try to rewrite it to make sense!

It is narrower than like a 8.25 so your tires will be in further not out. And your turning radius will get smaller although only a very small difference

Acerwin, I'm almost positive you don't have the tools or knowhow to fabricate an 8.8 swap. Buy one and pay a reputable shop to put it in.

No you don't need pitman drop. Get it if you want. Buy a double shear trac bar and you will be happy. I regret not waiting to spend the extra 50$ on iron rocks double shear

This includes almost everything I've done to my Jeep. Now I do have the skill. Although I have to agree with you that an 8.8 swap might not be a good place to start on the quest for knowledge.

I know a lot, and I can do a lot. I still can't weld because I don't have the materials or any practice. I'm not insulting him. I'm saying I wouldn't wanna be anywhere near him on the road if he welds up his 8.8 and sets the pinion angle himself. He doesn't seem to have the base level of experience or knowledge to tackle that project.

Lowrange2, yeah I do live in clinton where about do you live (not trying to be nosey). actually I don't have the knowledge I was going to get my grandpa to help install it or who ever can help me install it cause I'm just 19 who works at zf transmission and going to school at night so I just don't have time to learn how to weld at the moment or do any of these things just trying to get some knowledge on it.

I work for Eaton in Greenwood straight down Hwy 72.

Do you know a guy name Rusty Lawton or JD Rice? They both work at ZF.
