Can I run a Non C clip axleshaft on one side and a C clip style shaft on the other side ? I heard they are stronger. Should I Put a truss under the axle to act like a skid I think a over axle truss will hit my Gastank if I get rear ended

Yeah I'm at 3.5 inch lift and 31s and I get a little more then a full turn of the wheel then it starts to rub, with the stock wheels

No idea about the shafts but some people with drag cars put a horizontal truss on the rear because of torque issues. I don't see why it wouldn't work for you. But to be honest, you can truss the rear vertically like normal and not go over the housing. You'll just have to weld to cast. Its not ideal but done properly, it'll work just fine.

You might need to put in a new crossmember. It might stress a motor mount.

I already replaced my stock crossmember with one made from .20 gauge sheet metal. It should be plenty strong.

I want a truss on the bottom of the diff not the back. 37's on my D35 I won't need to worry about clearance

M/Ts. I love them. Duratracs have weak sidewalls. Both are great in snow if that's an issue.

That impressed me. How great those m/t's performed in the snow. Keep 'em rotated though.
