Alright I will check those out but I actually think I am going to replace all the suspension (seeing as its worn) with new HD stuff and then throw tires underneath it and work on everything else that is wrong with it, I probably won't wheel it at all so why lift it if it won't be wheeled.
I did the math for those tires and it looks like I am only gaining like .5" moving from the stock 225 tires to the 235's, I read somewhere that I can easily fit 30" tires under a Jeep Cherokee without any problems, can anyone confirm or deny this for me please? Or if not I can just get the 2" Teraflex lift and put that on while I am replacing the suspension. This Jeep is mainly my daily driver and always will be.

Alright so a 2" lift will not effect the way the Jeep drives but will I still need to get an alignment after the lift? I am going to replace the rear leaf springs with the HD ones from Quadratec, it says it has a 7" arch, will this give the Jeep a lift in itself?
These are the springs:

If your stock leafs are flat or inverted then new HD springs will appear to give it lift but they should actually bring it back to original stock height.

Alright, the more I drive my jeep, the more it is driving me nuts with the crappy steering. The more I have read about the problem I am having, the more the solution leans towards caster angle. I know mine is off because I have measured it.
My question is, if I get the caster angle back correct, won't this affect my pinion angle to the point where I get drive shaft vibes or worse, u-joints binding?
I am at 5.5" of lift and according to what I have read my differential needs to be at about 4.5* to get the caster back correct. It is currently at around 10*.
How do I adjust caster without getting the cv drive shaft out of whack?

I have been doing the math in my head and it seems like it will be cheaper to buy the Zone Offroad 3.5" lift qith full real leaf packs than it would be to buy all the HD suspension parts fron Quadratec and then buy a budget 2" teraflex lift. But I do have a couple questions, how much fuel mileage loss will I see with a 3.5" lift and 31's? Will I need a full alignment after the lift is installed? Will that large of a lift destroy my transfercase or rear from everyday driving? I am sure I will have more questions but it is still early in the morning. Ha! Thank you all for all your help so far and in the future.

Rebuilding the factory suspension costs almost as much as lifting. It can actually cost more depending on the parts uses.
Well my leaf springs are flat on both sides and the end of the second leaf in the right hand side pack snapped off. So yes I need new leaf springs.

Has anyone heard any good or bad reviews on Jcroffroad (over the knuckle, under the knuckle) steering? And which would be better over or under?
Im sure, but HD springs and 2" shackles with 2" spacers should be cheaper(for the most part) than a 3.5" kit. Hell idk. Doesn't OME make 2" lift springs?
If you are going to get new leafs, why not get 2" lift springs and 2" spacers up front? You can get shackles very cheap. Why do you have to have HD leafs? Im just tryin' to get you the best route bud. More so of different ideas.

The reason I am leaning towards just using the HD springs is because I am really considering build this XJ into a tow rig, I am looking at purchasing either another XJ or an MJ to build as a fully dedicated offroad rig so I need something sturdy to tow the other truck back and forth to the trails. Know what I mean?

I appreciate it man. If I can find 2" lift springs I will get those. Where is a good place to buy stuff from? Only places I have been looking is Quadratec and 4wd parts.
