To OP fwiw saved about 400 piecing together my kit over a prepackaged kit and it works much better then a packaged kit. But I am still striving for it to work better so I may remove a leaf from my rear and add a shackle to get my rear to flex like my front
If you want to build it right, it costs about the same. Quality shocks alone will cost you ~2-300$. 200 for an IRO trackbar, 100 for coils, 100 for brake-lines and shackle. You get the idea.

It changes depending on how much lift you have.

I used RE coils/ leafs / trackbar/ teraflex adjustable uppers and lowers / Bilstein 5100's and crown braided brake lines front and rear for $1100 after tax Most of my stuff was bought on sale and if I bought the RE kit and added adjustable uppers and the cost of the Bilstein shocks I would have been close to 1500

Better yet build your own kit But some extended brake lines , but a IRO adjustable trackbar , Buy a pair of coils, But some 2"- 2.5" leaf springs and 1" lift shackles , and some lower control arms. With quality shocks.
ive been asking around and have heard good things about rustys, although im open to others... problem is i dont have a ton of money right now and have a snapped leaf in my current leaf pack and the tires are constantly rubbing when ever i go over a bump because of it, i decided to go with a 3 inch lift because i dont have money for new tires and i dont mind the look of 235's on a 3 inch lift.

anyways what other options do i have lift kit wise? id rather not spend over $500 total

the 3 inch rc is solid for what it is, and youll need new leaf packs now, i think it is hard to beat for the money with the bottom end shock...but theyre all twintube pieces of crap that most low end lifts offer, might as well get the cheapest and save some money for gas haha

You don't really need extended bump stops. Replacement stock bump stops work just fine. Omix Ada makes good replacement ones

If you're keeping the factory tire size, stock bumpstops are fine. If you're installing larger tires, you may need longer bumpstops.

To get the correct length, you have to jack up each tire til it almost rubs, and measure the distance between the bumpstop tube and the plate.

Keep in mind hockey pucks work well for the front and are cheaper than most aftermarket bumpstops.

I have a 91 Cherokee with a 4.5 rough country lift. Has anybody put coil spring spacers on top of lift springs without having to buy all new springs. Would this be a safety hazard to do? Thanks guys for your info.

as long as they are 2" tall or less, yes they are safe.

okay thanks bud. I was only going to do a 1.5 anyways. I just didn't know if it affected the stability of the lift spring. And its a lot cheaper to buy some spacers than all new springs.

Ok so if I go with a zone 3 inch lift... Is there anything else I should get... Is a track bar relocation bracket ok? (I realy don't want to drill a new hole and plan on an adjustable track bar once I have the money for one

Youll need at least a rear brake line for anything more than street driving, adjustable track bar(needed, do not go cheap). The only track bar to buy is the Iron Rock Offroad double shear track bar. Dont waste money on anything else. Cant afford it now? Wait.

What year is your jeep ? You may need an SYE if you have anything later than a mid 96, but every jeep is different.

my suspension is shot, one leaf pack has a broken leaf, my tires rub going over every bump... I want to get new suspension while my parents are offering me 200 to help... I only have about 5-600 total I can spend to get my jeep driving again ( my parents don't want me driving it with a broken leaf) that's why I'd rather go with a bracket now and an adjustable track bar later

Id drive with a broken leaf over driving with ****ty steering. Its your jeep, do with it what you please. At that point i think i would just use a stock track bar and have my axle off center. At least that way I am pretty sure it wont break or anything.
