a read an older build where a guy did a BB. I included the link to the build below:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/20...-wheels-36076/
My question is, if I do a budget build, I just want to do 2in bc it seems to be the cheapest way to go, but I keep hearing how horrible the ride quality is unless I put more money into it. I wanted 2in OME leaf springs, but I don't think they make them anymore. Is there an alternative? I'm kind of struggling with what to get without making my price all the way to what I would be paying for say a RC 3in lift....any advice or ways I can keep costs down so it actually is a BB??

DPG Offroad is great to work with and carries OME and Hybrid OME kits.

The basic economy kit looks good but it seems high in price. Do you think I could get just the rear leafs and the front coils? I figure Monroe magnum shocks bc they are cheaper than ome. Would that be a better strategy to stay cheaper? I heard the magnum shocks are like ome but quite a bit cheaper. But those kits are like $650 which is substantially more than a 3in rc or most other lift kits.
Just remember, you get what you pay for. OME is going to ride nice. RC is crap...

Right now I'm looking at a 4.5 inch to put on my XJ. I was thinking about the Zone full leaf kit. I was wondering what else I would need for a 4.5 inch lift

I would go Zone if youre trying to be cheap. Get 3.5" leaf packs and an extended shackle. Youll mostly need shackle relocation brackets too.

So would any sye be able to use a stock front drive shaft? Been thinking of going advance adapters, but Adams driveshaft which is local to me has some good deals going. And I love to support the local business

Most likely, yes. Provided it is for a 231 and not a "Super Short SYE". Those are for wranglers.
