Your alternative is buying new (or used aftermarket). I pieced my Cherokee's lift together, mostly from Craigslist, over a span of about 6 months. It's always a trade-off between time and money with these things.
What were some of the things you typed in to find parts? Do u remember how much u spent over all? I'm trying to lift it before the first snow...

For 3" coils, lightly used Rubicon Express 3.5" leafs, sway bar quick disconnects, stock JK Wrangler Rubicon shocks, a new double shear track bar from Iron Rock Offroad, five wheels, and five new 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Duratrac tires: Just under $1k.
The biggest thing is searching multiple cities. I was doing around 100 searches a day during my 12 hour shifts at work, but that isn't really necessary.

Xj main and the whole s10 pack minus the s10 main and overload leaf should net you around 2-2.5 inches.

I have a RE 3.5'' super ride kit with full leafs and Bilstein 5100 shocks on my XJ currently and i want to go a little taller and level out the front with the rear. My plan is to run 2'' coil spacers in the front and 1-1.5'' shackles in the back, basically add a budget boost to it. I'm wondering will I need longer brake lines or brake line extensions for the front, or will my stock brake lines be ok? I already have the rear brake line extension on the rear that came with the kit. My next question is, will my shocks handle the added lift? Maybe at least until i could afford longer ones. My final question is am I missing anything that i would need to do this? Any help with this would be appreciated, feel free to PM me about it. Thanks!

You should already have upgraded your front lines, but yes you should get longer ones for the front when you add more lift.
The rear line would probably be ok, best way to tell is let the rear droop down and check if it's tight.
As for the shocks:

Until you can afford longer ones.
Anything else? Is your trac bar long enough for the lift?
Should upgrade control arms, need new uppers past 4.5.
Do you already have a SYE?

yea seems like a lot more than i have to spend on it right now. Id probably just buy a whole new kit and sell mine later on down the road. whats the cheapest way i can level it out in the front then instead of going all around taller?
